For a conference targeting brown folks, your registration fees are pretty steep. By the time you throw in gas and a hotel room, I'm out almost a third of a paycheck. Is there a working to feed my family discount?
the early registration rate was $100.
I paid $160 for my class reunion. $120 for the family reunion and Netroots Nation charges $450.
Blogher $348.
If the cost of registration is prohibitive for you, you should consider contacting the conference planning committee and explaining your situation. Money should not be a reason for you not attending.
